What a fantastically busy and productive week. The show is coming along nicely now, the children have all worked really hard to learn their lines and can’t wait to share it with you on Wednesday.

We also had our Christmas making afternoon on Thursday. A huge thank you to all those who came along and helped out. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

During English we have been reading a non fiction text about the moon, in preparation for writing a factfile at the end of this week. The planetarium really supported our learning in this area, the children were so excited when it came to visit and loved feeling like they were in space.

In maths the children have been adding and subtracting multiples of ten. They will be completing their post assessment this week.

In history, they have compared the lives of Christopher Columbus and Neil Armstrong using a Venn diagram.

In geography they have leant the 4 points of a compass and even come up with their own little tricks to help them temper them e.g

Our learning Hero this week was Noah. Great reciprocity shown during rehearsals. Well done!

This week is set to be one of our busiest yet, with 4 performances, to put on for our school friends and family. We can’t  wait to see you there.
